Glass Blowing (Azumino Glass Studio)

There are several glass-blowing studios in Azumino that offer visitors the opportunity to watch professional glass-blowers at work, with some studios additionally offering glass-blowing lessons and workshops to those intrigued about getting a little closer to the kiln. A range of glasses, bracelets, necklaces, straps and key-rings can be fashioned by budding glass-artists, and classes are priced accordingly to the piece that students wish to make. Classes and workshops can usually be arranged on the day, although it is generally recommended that visitors book classes in advance to avoid disappointment.
