This museum offers insight into the lives of the people of Azumino through exhibits such as Jomon-Period earthenware designated as Prefectural Cultural Assets of Nagano, everyday tools used before and after World War II, and equipment that supported local industries. There is also a special display related to the NHK radio drama Kane no Naru Oka (The Hill Where the Bell Rings), which aired from 1947 to 1950.
